So I've decided to seriously research my long-standing desire to go to cosmetology school. Even though I could probably do alright cutting hair, I would rather focus on becoming a color specialist. I just need to find a school around here, relatively close, that has a good program and won't make me completely destitute.

Exciting news! I got a new kitty!

You can't really tell from these dark pictures, but he has a circle of green and a circle of yellow around the black pupils of his eyes. He really is a gorgeous cat!



He's taken a liking to the dark nooks and crannies of our apartment. He especially likes to go under the couch, which was such a pain in the ass that we stuffed pillows along the sides of it so he couldn't get underneath. Now he just chills out under the front part of the couch that's covered by the slipcover. I'm pretty sure it's not because he's scared, but because he just likes it there. He also likes to nudge the crap out of your face if you get close to him. He's affectionate and has personality and quite frankly, he's awesome. Totally lives up to his name! :)
